Chocolate Breakfast Cookie

These are so simple to make and one of my new favorite grab and go snacks! If you are a chocolate lover you're going to love these! I've been baking these until they just barely look done and they end up a little gooey and taste incredible! They are good either way, but that's definitely my favorite way to eat them. If you want them softer and easier to take on the go cook them for a tad longer.

You could definitely give it a try! We never have because we eat them too quickly, but I would imagine they’d work well!

Many of your recipes use protein powder, however it’s suggested that children don’t have it. What would you suggest to sub in? Or can I just leave it out? Thanks!

you can swap almond flour in place of the protein powder. we have clean protein powders that are supposed to be safer for kids by a company called clean simple eats. But you can almost always swap protein powder for almond or oat flour.

you could give it a try, I haven't so I'm not sure how they would turn out. I would suggest adding a little less as it's dryer than almond flour, let us know how they turn out if you make them!

You could try oat flour instead. I haven’t made them that way and the texture may be a bit different but I think it should still work. I’d love to hear if you try it out!
